MEET THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

GLORIA J. WRIGHT

Gloria Wright

Executive Director of the Long Branch Housing Authority and Executive Director of the Maestro Community Development Corporation, Ms. Wright is an attorney by training, admitted to practice law in three states, and has more than 25 years of experience in affordable housing and real estate finance.

Her extensive career includes chief real estate counsel representing public entities, including state departments, agencies and public housing authorities, in the negotiations, financings and closings of multi-tiered real estate investment transactions; legal manager for the NJ Housing Mortgage Finance Agency real estate financings and closings, litigation on behalf of state agencies, management of investments and loan portfolios for Fannie Mae (for which she received two national awards), certified arbitrator and mediator, counsel to public boards and state departments, president and leader within certain real estate and civic groups.

Deputy Attorney General for the State of NJ, Senior Investment Manager for Fannie Mae, Deputy General Counsel for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, General Counsel for the Camden Housing Authority, Chief Policy Advisor for the Newark Housing Authority, Executive Director for the Asbury and Red Bank Housing Authorities.
